Anchorage 1770 Hotel - Beaufort

We enjoyed yoga on the verandah with fine views and explored the rich history of the original Ribaut Club. The hospitality was great, and the breakfast offerings were fantastic. I loved the welcome prosecco and fresh cookies brought to our room. There's also a great vibe in the community.

The only downside was that the pillows could have been more comfortable, typical for hotels. A bathtub would have been a nice addition, but I get the challenges of the historic building.

The hotel is homely, has spectacular views and excellent location just off several restaurants, shops, and the waterfront park and " downtown " Bay Street and the historic downtown shops.

The whole experience was enjoyable. Beautiful hotel, we greatly enjoyed the VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE staff and luxurious room. The breakfast was delicious with a wide array of food and soft drinks. The room with comfortable beds.

The friendly staff, and the breakfast overlooking the beautiful marina was a daily highlight. I loved the freshly baked biscuits and the cute Prosecco upon arrival. A few more towels in the room would have been appreciated.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The staff was so kind to our kids, and my boys loved the fresh cookies they brought us. The breakfast was great! The room was cozy, but we could hear a bit too much from the upstairs neighbors. Great stay!

The beautifully restored mansion boasts fine water views and good porches perfect for sipping cold beverages while catching up on a good book. Breakfast was a culinary highlight with flavorful offerings that left me wanting more, and the cozy ambiance of the on-site restaurant.

This was a fitting option for a brief pause in Beaufort with good value. The bed was superbly comfortable, topped with soft linens. For a more relaxing stay, enjoy the beautiful views on the front verandas.

I loved starting my mornings with coffee on the porch overlooking the marina, and the beautiful porches are unbeatable, just a few steps away.

It seems our room had been the scene of an intense towel battle before we arrived! Who knew living in an old house meant playing hide and seek with air conditioning?
